How education has changed

over the last decade

Today, education looks very different from what it did 10 years ago. From technology-driven classrooms to new teaching styles and a focus on lifelong learning, there have been many changes in how we approach and think about educating our children.

One of the most significant changes of the past decade is the rise of technology in the classroom. Technology has given teachers and students unparalleled access to information, resources, and collaboration tools. It's allowed classes to become more interactive, engaging, and efficient. Many teachers have adopted a "flipped classroom" method where they create video lectures for students to watch at home or on their own time and class time can be spent on discussion or exercises that allow students to push their understanding further.

In addition to technology, there has been a growing emphasis on preparing students for life outside of school with "real world" skills-based learning. Instead of relying solely on traditional means of evaluation like end-of-year exams, educators are now trying to develop projects and assessments that focus more on personal development and creativity. This type of education prepares children for success in an ever-changing job market with its focus on problem solving, collaboration, critical thinking, communication, and digital literacy.

The idea that learning is something we do all our lives is also starting to become increasingly accepted in society. With more adults returning to school later in life either upskill themselves or switch to a different career path entirely – lifelong learning is becoming increasingly accepted as a necessary part of modern life – no matter what stage of your professional or educational journey you're at. Many individuals are taking advantage of the plethora of online learning options available today through websites such as Coursera or edX which offer up dozens upon dozens learning opportunities from top-tier universities around the world – completely accessible right from home!
